Direct contact transfers heat
The warm sand warms my feet
One way to cook matter
Is when I have made cookie batter

When hot water rises cold air sinks
When i open a hot oven it makes me blink
Heat goes around in a circular motion
As one person drinks a magical potion

When you use a lot of heat we all scatter
We all use the heat in a big bowl of batter
